I first became interested in architecture when I toured the Gamble House in Pasadena, designed by Greene & Greene. I love the way they fuse their designs with the surrounding landscapes.

I love Calatrava’s characteristic way of taking inspiration from the human body and the natural world and using it for structural engeneering and poetic forms in concrete, glass and metal. I talked with some people who are working with Santiago Calatrava. They all talk about him as a man with integrity and natural warmth. This is a rare thing.
