Dutch designer Marjan van Aubel recently unveiled a set of ecologically crafted “Foam China” and a “Foam Cabinet” at Milan Design Week. Each piece is composed of an open-cell porcelain that looks and behaves very similar to polystyrene foam but without the chemical-ridden health hazards and environmental impact.

Swedish design firm Form Us With Love (FUWL) is hitting the Salone del Mobile this year, with their latest design: Botanic Collection. The Botanic collection consist of over-sized rose buds made from biodegradable vinyl flooring. Made by Family run company Bolon - renowned for its flooring creations, Botanic collection is a revolutionary breakthrough, weaving vinyl flooring with environmental care. Botanic contains a new plasticizer which, in turn, is based on renewable raw materials originating from plant extracts
