vibrant vintage home in bucks county, pennsylvania

A lovely traditional home. I like the twig chandelier and the flowing draperies in the living room.
Clock Tower Penthouse

This place is insanely awesome. Who wouldn’t want to live in an awesome clock tower penthouse with that view of Brooklyn. If you want it the price is only a cool $25 mill. I wonder if that clock is loud?

Oh my! The view…the staircase…the clock
Bright Summer Spaces…

Recently I came across the work of Douglas Friedman over at Desire to Inspire, and I especially love these dreamy, white interiors… so simple and accessorized with just enough extras. I’d love to kick back in such serene spaces. They remind me of an airy home by the beach where the breeze blows through and the sun wakes you up in the morning… ahhh…

White with natural elements…really lovely.
Jeff Herron

It’s the lighting I love in photographer Jeff Herron’s portfolio and particularly his understanding of artificial light. His shots of rooms lit at night are moody, his day time photos crisp and bright. But most of all his shots show how much he understands the interiors, the space, the relationship of the pieces within. He interprets the mood but never loses sight of the simple beauty. Contemporary, clean and packing punch.

Comfortable color. Love the orange stripe rug.
Fuschia Focus

1
At times elegant, luxe but contemporary, understated but shocking. It’s the fuchsia focus. Today I’m stalking this Woollahra, Sydney house on a scale that most us can only dream about. Lessons to be learnt? The eye is drawn out from the interiors to the stunning outdoor spaces. That’s a bold statement colour choice. The more personal spaces are intimate and monotone with only the occasional reference to THAT wall colour. It’s a play between deep dark and bright bold, shadows and light, serious and fun.

I really like the use of wood throughout the home - even in the outdoor shower.
