Lodge Conversion/Uxus Design
Upon first glance, this project will seem like a departure from what you typically see at cabbagerose. But look again.

The foyer of this Wilton, Connecticut lodge at first may seem to offer only a classic welcome in midnight blue painted walls with white crown molding. But, a glance upward will show a whimsical touch…a wonderful surprise. A light fixture treatment that consists of a circle of Mooi’s Dear Ingo lamps in white creates an intriguing interior decoration on the ceiling.

Pops of red, modern designer furniture, a framed penguin book cover, floor to ceiling stacked books…all so wonderful in a traditional space.

there are the books, aren’t they great?
